Entrepreneurship, honesty, a flair for innovation and the willingness to burn midnight oil are some of the common characteristics of Smart Idea Shop’s founding team. Several of us have worked together in other start-ups that developed leading edge web and mobile technologies. We’ve waited long for another opportunity to work together and the time is now! Success is within reach when a team of good advisers share the same instinct, energy and passion for the next big thing… the Smart Idea shop.
Vasee, the lead evangelist of the team, is a seasoned entrepreneur who counts The Smart Idea Shop as his fourth start-up. Vasee draws energy from disruptive technology and the inevitable need to cross the chasm.
Previously, between ’97 and ’04, Vasee successfully raised funds for and grew three technology start-ups two of which developed leading edge web and mobile software. MediaSolv, the largest of the companies, had 145 staff and offices in USA, Singapore and Sri Lanka. As the founder and chief executive, Vasee took the lead role in business development, helped manage partner relationships and channels, reported to the Board, assumed responsibility for the development and execution of business plans and had oversight of finances and staffing.
Vasee earned a Master’s Degree in Communications Management from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communications and has over 17 years’ experience in General Management and senior level Sales and Marketing oriented roles across a variety of sectors.
